This tradeshow is the biggest in Latin America in the food industry machine sector and food products packaging. Although Fispal is dedicated to all branches of the food industry, 50% of the place is represented by the food product packaging industry. The rest is reserved for industrial processes and logistics.

This increase is partly explained by the growth of the average Brazilians income which was significant these last years, but also by the non-stop industrial development of the country who is no longer pleased by only producing “commodities”. According to projections by the ABIA, the billing of the sector should increase 16, 2% in 2008 in compared with 2007.
